Student council has always been an important part of the Neil Armstrong community. Students who take part in Student Council are students who show qualities of a good leader.

What are qualities of a leader?

A leader is someone who participates in school activities with a positive, upbeat attitude and who can guide others toward a common goal, showing the way by example, and creating an environment in which other team members feel actively involved in the entire process. A leader is not the boss of the team but, instead, the person that is committed to carrying out his/her mission and duties.

Qualities of a good leader:

·      A good listener,

·      Focused learner,

·      Organized,

·      Responsible,

·      Flexible,

·      Confident,

·      Decisive.
