Site Council

The purpose of Site Council is to:

  1. Develop and recommend the school improvement plan and budget.
  2. Have the on-going responsibility to review the implementation of the school improvement program with the principal, teachers, parent, students as appropriate, and other school personnel and to periodically assess the effectiveness of the program.
  3. Annually review the school improvement plan and budget to ensure that it is consistent with the State guidelines and recommend modifications to the plan to reflect changing improvement needs and priorities.
  4. Take other actions as required by the Education Code or as other issues arise that impact the school site.

Site Council membership is composed of school personnel (administrator, teachers and classified personnel), parents, community members and/or students.

Site Council meetings are held monthly at 3:10 in the Library.
